Koch Industries is a privately held corporation operating a variety of industrial sectors, including oil and gas exploration, pipelines and refining, chemical and fertilizer production. The company also manufactures pollution control equipment used in refineries, methane gas power plants, and chemical plants. Koch Industries and its CEO, Charles Koch, fund a network of politicians, front groups, and trade associations that deny global warming and promote misinformation about climate science.
