National Rural Electric Cooperative Association

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is the trade association for electric cooperatives, which are not-for-profit companies that provide electricity to its customers or members, or generate and transmit power to other cooperatives. Cooperatives serve 42 million customers, or 12% of the country, according to NRECA.
