National Fuel is an energy holding company that includes a gas utility serving customers in western New York state and Pennsylvania. National Fuel also owns a methane gas fracking subsidiary called Seneca Resources Company, LLC  that operates in Appalachia. Additionally, the company has a stake in interstate gas pipelines and gathering lines.
