Southern California Gas Company

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) is a Sempra subsidiary that owns and operates a methane gas distribution, transmission and storage system that serves Southern and portions of Central California. It is the largest gas utility in the country with more than 21 million consumers through 6 million meters. SoCalGas is fighting electrification policies and has charged its customers millions of dollars to oppose clean energy policies in California.
