Xcel Energy is an electric and gas utility with subsidiaries that serve customers in Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin. Across all states, it serves 3.8 million electricity customers and 2.1 million gas customers, with its largest electric and gas subsidiaries in Colorado and Minnesota. Xcel is headquartered in Minnesota.
